ALMOST JOURNALIST is set up by a bunch of quirky, eccentric, profanity-spewing journalism students at Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman on 19 April 2011.
Seeing how editors and industry specialists are complaining that a majority of journo students can't write well these days, the blog will serve as a platform for them (the May 2010 intake of UTAR journalism students) to hone their writing craft as well as to be in the loop of current issues.
Based in the sleepy town of Kampar, Perak, this site is also an indirect show of defiance by the writers to prove that varsity life in a small town can also be injected with fun and all stuffs happening. The writers are testimony that all you need is just a little zest and crazy.
